Relationship Economics has revolutionized how I connect with others on a professional basis. I have always disliked a car salesman-like approach when developing new business and desired to strive for genuine connections with my prospects, candidates and clients. The concepts have helped me accelerate what I had been taught from my dad and grandfather who both were successful entrepreneurs.

The process has proven to be an efficient way to generate new sales and contacts quickly. By using these techniques I am able to invest my time in the best contacts that can truly help me reach my specific goals. The workshop also helped me realize the weaknesses and strengths of my professional network of contacts. Immediately after attending the workshop, I found ways to develop referrals and sales leads through my volunteer activities, professional organizations and other interests outside of the workplace.

While I was volunteering, a new acquaintance of mine asked me for some help regarding his job search.  From the techniques in the workshop, I sincerely provided some advice and referrals for his job search.  In a few weeks, this person referred me to a new client that provided our recruiting solutions firm with over $75K in new revenue.  Before I attended the workshop, I would have made some lackluster sales approach to prospects, like a random cold call. Now, I was seen as an asset to my colleagues even in social settings and given more credibility as a recruiting expert.

I truly enjoy setting professional goals and seeing the immediate and long-term benefits of helping others.  It was amazing how I developed several new relationships by following just one of the ideas from the Relationship Economics workshop.
